The coneflowers are beautiful right now. In spite of our hot temps and lack of rain, this clump in front of the rock wall is thriving among the false sunflowers.
I love'em too!! I emailed you the other day. .if you didn't get it, you might check your spam box! Then let me know if it came or not, and I can email you again!! Have a great day. .Praying for Rain!
We're praying for rain, too, Melanie. We need it desperately!
I know I got your e-mail, but now I can't find it. And I thought I responded. Could you e-mail me again at debraney@mac.com and I'll respond again so you can send me seed heads!! :) That's what it was about, right? What HAPPENED to that e-mail??
Love the purple coneflowers. Did you grow them from seed? I've wanted to put some in our garden, but the nurseries in our area don't have any. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for more coneflower pictures, they are so sunny and summery, cheerful and vibrant,in the midst of such a hot summer!

Anyway, I'd LOVE that, and thank you!

The purple and yellow coneflowers along our fence were started from seed––in a wildflower mix we planted 5 years ago.
But we've also transplanted some coneflowers that a friend gave us and they're beautiful too. The brighter orange-y ones from a previous post.
Hope you can get some started in your garden! They're a delight.
