After one full month with nary a drop, we finally got our rain on August 3. Two-and-a-half inches of the stuff, if our new rain gauge can be trusted. And this morning, August 6, we got more. Haven't checked the rain gauge yet, but it rained pretty good for a while. Thank you, Lord!

Praise the Lord!! We were blessed with 8 tenths last night too! I think it is so great. .all of our last rains have come from less than 30% chances according to the meteorologists. .Wonder who's in charge?! Can't wait for the expected cool down this next week!!
Same here! Very low chance, and yet we got INCHES of Much-prayed-for rain! And the cooler weather will be such a blessing. (Sad when we consider 90s "cooler!")
