The fall color is almost gone after a couple of frosts and several days of relentless wind, but I captured this last gasp of color from our front porch early in November as a rainstorm rolled in.
I DO hate to lose my potted plants, Marnie. So much so that I'm lugging several of them in each night to save them from freezing. Seems like we always have an Indian summer that lasts a week or so in November, and I hate to have let everything freeze when I could have enjoyed it for a few more weeks. Our dining room looks like a hothouse every night with plants clustered in every corner. : )
I came here via Colors of the garden. The fall color outside your porch is absolutely stunning. Just the right amount of light to contrast the deep colors against a dark background! Fantastic!

That gold is very elegant against the darkening sky. Your potted plants are lush and beautiful. Bet you hate to lose it to the cold.
