Kidnapping? Catnapping? Catnipping?

Our front porch cat (the mama of all those kittens we've raised) has been missing for a month – after disappearing two or three times for a week to ten days at a time earlier this summer. Well, guess who moseyed up while we were having coffee on the porch this fine September morning? Yep! Biscuit! Looking fat and sassy.
I called some neighbors, and so far no one seems to know where she's been or who she's hanging out with, but she's obviously being well taken care of. We're happy to share her with the neighborhood – as long as she stops by to see us once a month or so.

Because I don't want to risk not having my little girls come home, they never get to go outside without a leash. I'd die if they didnt' come home! So, I'm sure you're awfully glad to have her home.

Our kitties are country cats, and outdoor cats, so they've always been free to roam. (After they've had their shots and been neutered, of course! Biscuit came to us as a stray and quickly presented us with kittens.) And yes, we're glad when they stick close to home, but it's wonderful to live in a neighborhood where people look out for each others' interests – even each others' kitties.

Ya know, kids that cat-nip usually end up hanging out with the wrong crowd and can find themselves in a mess :-)Glad she's safe and sound--but make sure to get to know her friends--so she knows YOU know :-)
