Perking up!


The garden is really perking up, thanks to the rains we had recently. It was a pretty sorry sight for a few weeks. So glad to see the results of the quenching rains.

I hope a half inch of rain will do some perking up for my flowers too, it wasn't a lot of rain, but much appreciated rain, and I sure enjoyed it this morning, along with the break from over 100 we've had every day for weeks in the Dallas area.

I know a good summer rain always perks me up following the extreme heat!
