I love the way the rain makes all the colors more intense. We had a wonderful week of mist and rain to welcome October. Much needed and much enjoyed. The grasshoppers, on the other hand––not needed and definitely not enjoyed!
Hi, I found your blog on Judy's sidebar. Her blog is Through my Garden Window, or something like that. She and I live in the same city in Nebraska. I see we both know Melanie as well.
I enjoyed your post. We had some rain today. I am dreading the killing freeze we are expecting in the next couple of days.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth . . . And God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so . . . And God saw that it was good." Genesis 1
