There is no sweeter music than a Kansas thunderstorm...as long as it's not accompanied by hail or tornadoes, of course! We had one of those gentle rain/low-rumbling distant thunder storms today, May 9, and I captured it on this video:
Only yesterday I was out on the deck working. Makes a lovely office when there's no rain.

Hi Deborah,
I definitely prefer a daylight thunderstorm to the ones that scare you awake in the night like the one we had Thursday at 4am.
Your flowers are looking very pretty and I loved the Canada Geese in an earlier post. Are they sticking around?

Hi Kathy,
Glad you survived your thunderstorm! My little grandkids in Dallas aren't fans of those thunderstorms either! :)
We just got back from five days at a conference and haven't seen our Canada geese yet. We kind of expect them to quit coming around when they start nesting, but until we left, they were still coming around for a while each day (cleaning up after the birds and squirrels we feed!)
