Help with the garden chores!

Our little grandsons were here for a few days and they were a BIG help in the garden. Well... maybe a few things got pruned that didn't really need pruning, and maybe a few Dahlberg daisies got squished with tiny toes, but this is who the garden was made for and we had a blast! It's awfully quiet out here now that they've gone home.

What cute little guys! I'm sure you didn't mind any flower squishing that inadvertently went on!

Nope! They can squish my flowers ANY time they want to! Signed, Mimi :)

Hi Deb! Thanks for your complimebnts about my house today at my blog. I appreciate them so much. Alas, I wish I could give you a color name for the paint in our dining room, but I mixed it myself. A little of goldy-yellow, a little white, a little brown... you know. I know exactly what you mean about trying to find just the right shade, hence, that's why I did it on my own. (The photo with the post is a bit brighter than in real life. In the other photo, the one of our livingroom, if you'll look to the left at the bay window, that is a truer-to-life shade.) I wish I could help because I know from experience how hard it can be to find just the right shade of anything, but especially yellow/harvest gold. I'll bet you could mix it yourself though. It just required patience until I got it the way I wanted. :)(Your yard looks as amazing as ever!) Thanks again, Debra

Ah, I should have known that was a Debra-mixed-it-herself color! :) Well, thank you for letting me know. And maybe I'll have to do some experimenting of my own!
