Rearranging furniture

We've been taking our coffee and cinnamon tea to the east-facing front porch for coffeebreaks these last few beautiful mornings and decided on a whim to move the bistro set from the back deck to the front porch so we'd have a table for our bagels and mugs. That means the front porch bench got moved to the back deck, and I think it will be a lovely place to sit to catch an evening sunset or early morning breeze.

UPDATE: Here's the front porch...after the bagels and coffee are gone.

The wooden bench looks so lovely out there with the green pillows on it.

I live in places like these in my mind. In real life, I have a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and 2 dogs, one of which will not rest until every object in her vicinity has her teeth marks on it. Coming to think of it, my boys won't rest until they have banged on every thing on their vicinity with a stick until is no longer recognizable. Yes, I live vicariously through your blog :)

Ah! Enjoy that real life, David. It only comes around once, and those are the sweetest memories you'll ever make...teethmarks and all...THOSE are the places you'll live in your mind when they are grown and gone. We raised four rugrats and they continue to be the joy of our life. But yes, we ARE enjoying the empty nest, too. :)
