It's a bald cypress. It's tripled in size in the seven years since we've lived here. Beautiful year round. It has an interesting habit of the roots forming "knees" that pop out clear out into the lawn. But otherwise, it's a favorite tree. Maybe second only to its neighboring lacebark elms.
Aww, cats are some of my favorite kids! Sundae seems to be telling you you're spending too much time writing and not enough time paying attention to her! So Sweet.
