We have a lilac bush! I've loved the scent of lilacs since I was a child, and to discover this pretty bush growing in our front garden is a wonderful surprise. Kind of a reward for waiting SO long for spring to finally arrive!

Our lilacs aren't too productive this year. .but they, like you, are one of my favorite signs/scents of spring!! Sounds like some fun things are unveiling themselves in your new yard!
Just checked back in to your blog after taking a break from so much computer time and am glad to see you have made the move and have a new yard to work with. I love the "old" flowers and know you will enjoy your lilacs.
